MATSCIENCE First Anniversary And Visits of Profs Marshak And Fukuda (Janurary 1963)

The First Anniversary Symposium of Matscience, held at the Old English Lecture Hall of the Presidency College of Madras University in January 1963, was inaugurated by Prof. Robert Marshak of the University of Rochester. The function was attended by Madras Chief Minister M. Bhakthavatsalam, outgoing Education Minister C. Subramaniam, new Education Minister R. Venkataraman, and Education Secretary K. Srinivasan.
